IT IS EVERY CITIZEN’S RIGHT TO VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATES OF THEIR CHOICE.

The Jewish Community Relations Committee at Greensboro Jewish Federation seeks to ensure every American has the information and easy access to voter and election education.  We embrace the opportunity to engage with our political system as a tool for pursuing justice, giving people choice, and repairing the world. In that spirit, we encourage you to get out and vote.

Throughout history, many people have fought and sacrificed for the right to vote to ensure taxes are spent wisely, there is job security and workplace safety, sound education systems, healthcare, social security, highway improvements, and neighborhood safety. You can take action and vote to improve the lives of everyone around us.

HOW TO VOTE

There are 3 ways to vote—Absentee, Early Voting and on Election Day. Given the ongoing prevalence of COVID-19, voters can request an Absentee Ballot. Note: “Absentee Voting” and “Vote by Mail” are used interchangeably.

ABSENTEE (BY MAIL) VOTING

Requesting Absentee by Mail Ballot: All registered voters in North Carolina may request an absentee ballot. Registered voters may request a ballot online through the North Carolina State Board of Elections Absentee Ballot Request Portal or fill out a North Carolina Absentee Ballot Request Form and return it in person at 301 West Market Street Greensboro, NC 27401.

Track your absentee ballot: Voters may track the status of their ballot request through BallotTrax, the Voter Search Tool, or by contacting the Guilford County Board of Elections . For more information on tracking ballot status, click here.
