Jewish Foundation of Greensboro

The Jewish Foundation of Greensboro is a constituent agency of the Greensboro Jewish Federation established to create a permanent endowment to ensure the viability of Jewish community life and education for generations to come.

You may make a gift of almost any size, either during your lifetime or through a bequest. The Foundation offers flexible vehicles to meet your charitable objectives, accommodating individuals of modest means as well as those with substantial wealth. Every gift is one of consequence to the Jewish people.

Vision Statement

The Vision of the Foundation is to develop, sustain, and ensure the social welfare, cultural heritage, and continuity of the Jewish community through the creation and growth of endowment funds.

Mission Statement

Guided by Jewish values of tzedakah (justice), tikkun olam (healing the world), and Klal Yisrael (Jewish peoplehood), the Mission of the Foundation is to provide continuity of financial support to Jewish institutions and programs, as well as community organizations through:

  • The encouragement of Jewish philanthropy
  • The creation and growth of endowment funds for institutions and programs
  • The provision of flexible services that aid donors in achieving a broad range of charitable purposes
  • The support of humanitarian, educational, social service, health, environmental, arts and culture programs
